Xeneizes

With their second album 'Xeneizes', released on Japis Records, Quarashi pushed their sound harder and sharper. The album's beats hit heavier, the rhymes cut deeper, and the band's confidence as performers and songwriters reached a new level.

Xeneizes expanded the band's fanbase beyond Iceland's shores, winning listeners across Scandinavia. Ómar Swarez joined the group during this era, adding his rapid-fire delivery to the lineup and forming the dual-MC dynamic that became a Quarashi trademark.

The album's title — taken from the Genoa football club's famously devoted ultras — captured the band's own mentality: loyal, loud, and relentless. It was the record that turned a promising Icelandic group into a Scandinavian underground phenomenon.
